How does Autosheet compare to Google Drive connectors in ChatGPT or Claude?

Native Google Sheets connectors are simple wrappers around the Google Sheets API. This API was never made for agents. It will truncate data, or send way too much data which will blow up context. Autosheet was meticulously built to optimize interactions with Google Sheets so that they are as fast and token-efficient as possible. In particular, Autosheet can reliably process hundreds of thousands of rows with a prompt template, at the speed of 1,000 rows per minute. That difference holds whether you reach it over MCP or through the API.

Yes. The Autosheet API is a plain HTTP API, so it works from any tool with an HTTP request step. POST a prompt and a Google Sheets spreadsheet ID from your workflow, then poll the agent endpoint for status or receive a webhook callback when the task completes.
